22. DIY Fall Decor Centerpiece
This cute DIY fall decor centerpiece is an affordable and easy was to have festive florals all season long. We originally created this centerpiece based off of a similar one we saw at the store. It was $40 and much simpler than this! I knew that I could create this look myself for way less, so I headed to Walmart and started looking for ideas.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- BASKET
- FOAM INSERT
- SCISSORS
- HOT GLUE
- FAIRY LIGHTS
- FALL FLORALS AND PUMPKINS
HOW TO CREATE THIS FALL DECOR DIY:
- Cut the foam to fit perfectly inside the basket of your choosing (I used an old one from Home Goods).
- Now start by placing the larger fall florals and pumpkins in the areas of your choosing and glueing them down.
- Next, start sticking the fall floral picks into any bare spots until the foam is no longer showing. You may need to cut some of the picks or break them down into smaller pieces to make sure your arrangement looks full. Be creative with this! We recommend the bundled picks because they are affordable and don’t need to be glued down.
- Once you have the florals where you want them, add in your fairy lights. We choose lights that were brown and battery powered so that they were easy to hide in the arrangement. Intertwine them with the florals so that they are hidden.
