Offray’s ribbons are a great option if you are looking for something easy and affordable! They are sold in stores like Walmart and on Amazon.
We have used Offray’s ribbon and we love it! The ribbon comes in any color you can imagine and costs less than $2 for 4 yards.
What you will need to make a bow?
NOTE: You can use any ribbon for this method! We used silk ribbon that isn’t wired to create a relaxed looking bow but you can use wired ribbon for a structured look.
We suggest shopping at Michaels, they have a great selection of ribbon and it’s my go to store!
How do you make a bow out of ribbon for a beginner?
STEP 1:
Make a simple loop and pinch the ribbon together.
STEP 2:
Wrap the tail on the right side over your thumb and hold it in the back.
STEP 3:
Keep holding the ribbon with your thumb and pointer with one hand. With your other hand, fold the right tail and pinch it to create the bows other loop.
Step 4:
Pull the new right bow loop you just made over your thumb and pull to create your bow!
This simple bow is perfect to add to any Christmas or holiday gifts. The bow also looks great on a front door wreath. This bow is very customizable and looks like you put in loads of effort when it only took you minutes!!
